Can you do say a midi signal to a keystoke for example
If i use mpc 1000 or mpd24 as midi control for Ableton live
I miss the Undo sequence, can you assign a signal to activate option+z
ie undo?

ahh true good point, i have found a program that takes the midi signal and lets you assign it to keystrokes though, for mac "control aid" just if you interested for the future

bome's midi translator lets you do that too. i haven't gotten too deep into that but it's a REALLY dope concept.

i'd use a couple keys that i rarely hit on the mpc, or even rare CCs, to trigger control z, save, or other non-midi computer functions.

lots of potential there, especially with Serato Scratch Live and the mpc.

Yeah i been looking at the use of one to many, in ableton live, for doing like live looping such as the boss footpedal, you assign one pad to stop record then shift to the next clip while arming that audio track so you can just record clip's and do essentially the boss pedal controlled via mpc.
