first of all if your not running the jj OS get it now - this gives you MTC
don't bother with midiclock it's shite.
1. in logic you need to goto the syncronisation window - you will see a tick box for MTC timecode tick it on - there should be a flip menu next to it or near. set it to the midi output you want.
2. plug a midi cable to from the midi output you chose, plug it in to the midi input of the mpc1000.
3. On the mpc press [mode] + sync select MTC from the sync menu
and your done.
4. note in logic and the in MPC the frame rate should be the same. normaly USA 30fps Europe 25fps are used.
note you can also slave logic to the mpc also. -
midi out from the mpc - into the midi in of logic ... set the sync page in the mpc to send MTC from either output A, B or both.
stick logic into sync from the transport - and it should follow.
i'm doing this from memory - so can't tell you the exact path to get at the sync pages on logic... i think you can get to it from holding the sync button on the transport bar - and selecting from a pop up menu.
