32bit to 16bit.

I figured out the problem with the unknown file format.
The samples i have for some reason are in 32bit. Can i change the mpc to use 32bit or any bit. Or is there a program to change a whole lot of samples from 32bit to 16bit.

yeah im using soundforge to do it I just wish there was a way to convert multiple files at once. doing it every file at a time is crazy long. I have like 1000 samples to convert

thats rough man, a lot of sounds to convert. definitely lets me know, wen im recording in cubase, if i wanna take the sounds into the mpc, better record or convert to 16bit first.

there gotta b a way though to convert all sounds at once. i dont know how soundforge works, but try selecting all, and then converting. (if thats possible)

yeah i dont think its possible to mass convert files.
I used a couple short cut keys and converted quite a few in a short period of time (hours). tedious process, ah well.

use batch processing in a program like adobe audition. you can set resampling settings and then just choose source and destination folders.

Audicity is nice and free too!
