Something you may not have noticed in GPE

There was lots of talk about getting the GPE screen up to par with the original program screen, the main feature missing being layers.

Well, don't know if you guys ever noticed this - and I'm not sure when it got implemented, but:

In any of the screens of GPE (Mode + Pad 11) highlight the pad number and press WINDOW.

There's your layers.

The only things missing from GPE are Purge and Copy Pad. I've asked JJ multiple times to add them, but got shot down each time. Those 2 features are the only reasons I've ever gone into OPM since I got the JJ. I always new about layers. I just highlight everything in a screen until I see the WINDOW light pop on. Simple yet effective way to learn all the subscreens.
