Hey I bought these RCA cables to plug into my mpc. I went to the music store and i asked them for dual mono 1/4 inch RCA cables...the guy over there said they dnt have any but they have stereo only. The ends to go into my Turntable ( NUMARK pt-01) are not red and white. They're silver I don't know now if i have the right cables...they fit in my MPC (RECORD IN) and into my TT but i cannot sample from record to mpc ive been looking the manual and im sopose to hold REC + PLAY START and it seems to me that nuthing is recording...maybe im doin something wrong.
SO just to be sure can someone tell me how to sample from RECORD TO MPC ill try that if not i kept my receipt and ill go give the cable back.

Thx sorry for bad english.

Well for starters you need to read the manual somemore. The rec buttons are only for recording a sequence and/or track. To sample/record from the mpc inputs you need to go into the sample menu. Giving the cables fit into each device you should be good there.

Dont you plug into a mixer? There are mono 1/4 rca adapters at radio shack for three bucks, buy those.
