SOund from Stero out to soundcard help

what am i doing wrong I have the MpC 1000, and i have the stero out plugs hooked up to my soundcard on my pc, but im not hearing anything,
it shows that its recording on my software n i can see it trying to get the sounds out, but its quiet n i dont hear anything when i try and record it, i dunno whats up need help badly

what audio interface are you using ?

is it in line input, is the input level set? or on something silly like -42 DB

maybe you have to turn monitor on for the track(s) you are recording to your daw (which program are you using by the way?)...

more than likely you need to enable Monitoring. If you are seeing data being written to the computer, can you hear it after it's been recorded? Like, not while you are recording but upon playback? Or it could just be a volume issue....
