so i was thinking about autoload and how it'd be nice if we had a series of zip files of autoloads that we use and enjoy. what waves would you include that you'd want to have access to every time?

me, i'd have a program with all the simple waveforms in it. sine, square, triangle, saw, and noise.

That's definitely the move for when we get the full ADSR.
There's so many more sounds to be created without the need for another sampler or a DAW, and creativity is limited to the imagination.
I'm thinking some FM tones would be a good addition to that for more metallic percussive sounds as well.

the files should be named so that they appear early in the list no matter what.

ie, name them

1sine
1square
1fm1
1fm2

etc, that way they will always be the first couple waves.

i usually load a very fat low kicksound i layer all my kicks with. i put a highpass on my kick sounds and layer them with this low sound, so every song has the same bass-attack.
plus i load a white noise, that i layer with my snares.
then i have some klick sounds i can pan and put on my kick, snare, whatever, to give it more punch.
