I`m sick of floppys and all external stuff...I found someone who sells a miditemp 3,5 harddrive -will this work with my mpc(the 2000 classick)??how big is the maximum storage capacity my mpc will work with?
some knowledge about partitonating a harddrive would also be welcome...
thanks....

i could be wrong but i believe the biggest drive a regular 2000 will read is a 9 gig drive. how ever you cannot use folders on that drive
so i woulc be somewhat pointless to have a drive that big on a 2000. i use 1 gig jaz disks and they work fine for me...

You can't use folders on any drive on the 2kOG. One of the BIGGEST features I would move to a 2kXL for.

I don't think a 2kOG can read a 9G drive without creating many partitions either, but I don't know for sure.

Peace,
