Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Why is the resale value so low on the old OG mpc2000 classic? The 2000xl goes for a couple hundred more used, ,and mpc60's and 3000's get decent resale value, but the old 2k is like the redheaded bastard stepchild

of the akais...

despite being a really reliable and useful production tool... why???

For the record, ,I still have my old 2k... Ol' Betsy will probably not be leaving me anytime soon.

I still have mines to. But i have seen them go from $200 up to $650. It jus depends on its condition, wats included, and wats installed. Alot of the 2k's are known for bad screens, messed up power puttons, bad floppy drives, and messed up NV sliders. Also u cant really install another drive UNLESS u go through costly MODIFICATION. I mean its alot behind it but this is jus my view on it. I bought my MPC for a low price and if i wanted to sale it I could make double the profit but I dont think i will be selling it anytime soon.
