if you have your analog audio cables hooked up into the RECORD IN jacks on the back of your MPC-1000, then you should be able to get sound into the MPC by entering the RECORD screen: [MODE] + Pad5

you'll most likey want to run your turntable into the mixer first (for the builtin preamp) and run the mixers outs to your MPCs ins... there shouldn't be more to it unless your turntable also needs to be grounded or something...

plug ur turntable into a channel on your mixer, the plug your mixer's master outputs into your RECORD IN on your mpc.. then go into the 'record' screen..im thinking that would work?

Just to add a why.... The guys above me are correct... You must plug the TT into a mixer first in order to get a usable signal... Most mixers have a preamp, but TT do not and the preamp is needed in order to get decent sound out of them... You can def hook the TT driectly to the MPC but the signal will be really weak....

Hope this info helped...
