Well if your bringing up e-digging then I'd imagine your not dead set on having to digg for records and records only...

With that said you do realize there are many other alternatives...DVD, CD, VHS, Cassette, TV, etc etc etc...

You can sample anything with sound....

Keep in mind Records are not the only things that can produce sound...

Soak it in and deal with it....Or move from that Anti-Vinyl location your living in....

Haven't you heard of ebay or Craigslist? It's not perfect, but it's one way to score vinyl....But you'll have to be a bit saavy on what you're getting, because if you're not, you'd be buying vinyl you might not even be able to sample....(Music sucks, no decent beats, etc)

Find any thrift stores, and ask about their vinyl, and if you can get a better deal if you'll buy in bulk....

post ad's on craigslist for your area and ask for records. i'll bet many people in your community have them collecting dust in their attics or wherever. i live in the absolute middle of nowhere (montana) and i've been able to find some stashes of records that way....and also i lucked out on finding an antique store nearby that has an amazing and large collection of vinyl for sale. so also check antique fairs and stores. keep searching.....there's vinyl there somewhere. but really, post a wanted ad on craigslist!

Well no one answered it because you made it seem as if you wanted records but were only thinking about e-digging because you couldnt locate any vinyl.....So thats why people are trying to help with ideas or ways you can get yours hands on some records....

So I have to ask you....Was this thread some subliminal sh!t where in reality you could care less about hunting for vinyl...but rather your main concern is to plot ways for e-diggin?

You'll end up with better results if you dont beat around the bush and ask what it is you really want to know....

and to "OPENEYE" yes by e-digging he means just finding places that have vinyl or the likes of vinyl for free download....and most likely would be mp3's as I dont know many places that upload .wav's
