Thats obvious. I would hope people would know that Reaper wont run on a mass storage device without it being connected to a machine running Windows!!

would be better on USB2.0 though, the mpcs are all 1.1 iirc, which is sloooooww.

yeah i thought about that. I havent tried it on anything slower than usb2.0...

it'd also be a b!tch to track out to reaper from an MPC if you're using it as mass storage!

thought about that also. Maybe the MPC idea wasnt well thought out. Might be better with an IPOD though.

I have an MPC 2500, and I have a delay problem with the MTC with Reaper :s

I've been going nuts trying to sync MPC5000 to Reaper, slaving from Protools..Using Neko LX5 as sound source for mpc, running Reaper as multi-timbral host..Getting OSX and windows clocking together with MPC has been a nightmare! I need a stable clock so when I export audio files they line up on Protools grid. The MPC sequencer doesn't seem to do it, but if I slave it from Protools it should, right? Now if I could just get Reaper to follow MTC, sending tempo info to all the VSTi's, I'll be in business.. Any help would be greatly appreciated..
