?lost file? when i load program's

whaddup peoples, this is my first time posting here and before i ask for help i wanna mention that i've tried the search feature and for some reason when i search it just comes to a white page.

anyway.

when i load most programs i get a lost file message and i'm unable to ever load the program again.

because i've had a few things go wrong with my mpc i decided to copy all my stuff off the mpc hard drive and on to my comp as back up but the programs that i tried loading wont copy over and when i try to deleate the files via USB i
get a message like "this file is corrupt ect."

also i'd had the same problem as the other guy who recently posted that his mpc freezes when creating new folders.

i've read some stuff about the JJ os but will upgrading to a newer version stop my files getting corrupted?

can some one please enlighten me?'

ya dude deffinately upgrade to jj os.. akai os has a problem with this and does it when u replace files or create folders..u need to upgrade because if u dont one of these days it could currupt ur entire hardisk or compact flash card and u dont want that..luckily its never happened to me but the currupt file and folder that never can be deleted has happened to me on akai os..akai knows about this bug its been confirmed by them its not been fixed though still.. after 3 updates still no fix..download jj os

its also handy to own a compact flash card reader for ur computer instead of treating ur mpc as a compact flash card reader connected to ur comp..akai os and its usb feature is a joke..check out the jj os it has auto unmount no more plugging in and out the usb cable whenever u need to use usb..u can just leave the cable in and drag and drop files the way it should of been.

you may also just have a buggy flashcard or be using an incompatible one... i've had weird things happen from using cheap flashcards before [such as pops appearing randomly at the end of samples, etc].

just letting yous know that atm i'm not even using a flash card, i've been saving all my beats to the 40gig hard disk.

just an update:
also now when i plug my mpc in to my comp now i get a message on my comp saying that the "usb devise" (i guess its meaning my mpc hard drive) is corrupted. dose this mean that my whole mpc is ****?

what i'll do is download the jjOs and keep yous posted.
