Sequence Playback problem

I have a program selected and begin to record a new sequence, I can hear the sounds and click when recording, but in playback all i hear is the click. You can see the little box flashing in the left so i know the sequence has been recorded, but it doesn't sound. nothing is muted.

any ideas?

which OS do you have installed?

not sure what you mean, I use a mac computer with OS 10.2 to drag sounds to the MPC, but how would that effect ssequence playback.

do MPCs have different OS systems installed?

yes the mpc has an os also. That is what lithion was actually refering to. Do you have the 2.11 by akai or the JJ OS installed? By the sound of it you have the akai os installed.

Try one of the JJ OS versions to see if you encounter the same problem.
