just copy the .bin file onto a compact flash card... it has to be in the root directory, so don't put it in a folder or anything... put the CF card in and turn on your MPC while holding down the WINDOW button... press the REC button at the prompt.

no, you need a cf card or a hard drive to load the bin file onto. my recommendation: skip the cf card, and buy a hdm-10 kit and a hard drive.

my mpc already has a hardderive. 40 gig.

what i was asking is, is there any way i can load the jj os onto the harddrive via comp usb and then turn my mpc off and then back on?

will this work?

and whats a hdm-10 kit?

oh, that's fine then, just load the bin file to the root of the hard drive and turn on your mpc holding the window button.

or just turn it on normally, go to the LOAD screen, and hit DO IT on the JJ OS .bin file
