How to instantly make any program have the chromatic MIDI note order.

1.) MODE + PAD11 (GPE)
2.) SAMPLE tab (F1)
3.) Highlight NOTE field
4.) WINDOW

You are given two choices --

[RESET] Note-Assign to default.
[35-98] Note Assign to Straight.

Never noticed this before, thought I would point it out to anyone else who has been overlooking it.

haha yup, highly useful. works like a charm when you're trying to escape that silly old gm specification.

I always thought the only way was to do it through the TUNE screen and do the AUTO function.

It's amazing what you find by just pressing WINDOW whenever you can. That's pretty much how I learned the machine

yeah, the light up window button is ideal.
