Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

It would be great if the MPC was able to auto create a program from a folder of sound files, instead of importing and assigning them individually.

I thought the MPC editor would be the answer, but it seems duff.

I create a program and it doesn't load in the MPC (says unrecognised file format), have even tried saving the program fromat export type (can be 2000, 2000xl and 3000). Also, when I use the Editor and select the autoassign feature, some of the pads within the app don't make a sound, even though highlighting the sound itself and chosing 'play' lets me hear it. Anyone else have these problems. Am on XP

cheers

You saving the wav files 16 bit sample rate 44,100
and bit rate 1411kbps
If its higher than that i dont think your editor will recognise it as the MPC is a 16 bit full tilt peace of F@*k OFF weponary!!

am using the 2000xl

i think its def. the editor software cause any wav files which don't play properly through the app, i can then load them into the mpc and create a program manually
