I decided to post this after much failed research on this site. Including this in this topic in the title will hell the newbies and other person who need help in this area to find the information a little easier to come by.

What is drum layering?

What are the benefits??

How is it done on the mpc1000?

What is drum layering? exactly what it said! break it down 'drum' 'layering'

What are the benefits?? multiple benefits ie. fatter sound, different sound, etc.

How is it done on the mpc1000? this one is in the manual and if you ever made your own pgm's you would no this one!

that means you probably have been producing roughly 2 years. and you dont know what drum layering is. look it up? google it? read a book? youtube videos?
