hey has anyone noticed that the solo button actually now does a FULL SOLO! and cuts out all the other sounds once you press it.

now in a sense yes that's what its meant to do, BUT (and there always is a but) I am so used to the old way, which would solo the sound but leave the current playing sounds to play out but not come back if the solo button was still pressed.

i was doing a live show while i noticed this, and it really through me off! thought my shit was not working right!..... lol!! oh well... anyway there is a way to get it to work the old way should anyone need to know,

go to grid edit mode and select the track there, and solo it, to get the old way back....

now that i think about, I am getting an insight into JJ programming skills, and its either the coding for mpc's don't factor in functions or procedures or object oriented programming or JJ is just a programmer still getting his head round things making him a novice in his field, (no disrespect) for all this could be intentional cause he has done a good job so far, however I would like to get my hands on the source code and do it myself, i would like to customise my on OS cause there are some features that i seriously do not need.

anyway... let the show go on!!

do you mean on the track mute screen?

if so i'm pretty sure you can change the setting from immediate to through or note on and the solo function should function the way you want it to.

i don't have my mp in front of me so i could be completely wrong, but i think it should work....
