mpc memory card question

wusup guys im new to the mpc game i just got my mpc 1000 4 days ago. im switching over from from fruity loops. now my mpc is having trouble reading the memory cards i bought a 4gb flash card and when i got to format it it just keeps saying insert memory card and im reading directly off of the manual step by step. can anyone help me thanks.

hey bro, the manual says it will only recognize cards up to 2GB.

alright i went out i bought a 2 gb cf card and when im trying to format it it just keeps saying insert memory card. maybe its the brand., and the brand name is sandisk ultra2. if anyone has a solution please help

did you buy it new? (the mpc)

yea its a brand new mpc1000

just make sure you didnt bend any of the pins where the card goes. they bend easy.

yea it looks like a pin is bent or something i doesnt look right ima go to guitat center tommorw and exchange for a new one
