2000xl frozen

I don't know what happened. I got a 2000xl second hand and after a couple months of using it, it just froze. Every time I turn it on, it just says wait... and then stays like that. Pad bank a is lit up but I've left it like that for hours on end and it still won't work. I tried pressing all the buttons, all the pads, still it stays like that.

How do I get this thing fixed.

I'd check out the ram. Open it up and see if everything is still properly connected. You might wanna refit the ram. If that doesn't work, I'd guess your ram went bad or something...

^ yeah what Reckone said. it could have got knocked out of place in shipping. it happened to me the first time i upgraded my ram and when i opened it back in i found out it was because i didn't have the ram in secure enough. hope that helps.

check the ram, then re-load the OS
