Its all rumors.....It will be avalible when its ready...and it will be put up on Akaipro.com. It could be later today, or it could be a month. Even if an insider was told that it would be avaliable today...it dont mean sh1t. They wont release it if it's got problems.

No. From what I understand, and have been told by an Akai rep, Amic has nothing to do with Akai, apart from being there American distributor. Akai Musical Instruments Corporation (AMIC) has closed and Akai has assumed the role of American distributor for the U.S. Distribution in America will now be based out of California instead of Texas. But the people that do the R&D for Akai are in Japan and have nothing to do with AMIC.
