i know they are probably looked at as corny and cheap by a lot of producers but how do you guys feel about sampling shit like this

not exactly a cheesy loop but actually taking something like the TMNT theme and shredding it into a steaming cauldron of fire

some of my better samples come from these records, i have so many of them it's an othe Addiction within an Adddiction of vinyl.
there good for phrases, loops sounds and snippets.

back in the day they used to chopp sh!t like this up and rework it.

doug e fresh ...the show , inspector gadet, hold it you might be to young for that. but yes i likr to use these.

Afrika Bambaata used to rock a certain version of the "Mickey Mouse March" which starts with a drum break ..and i've got doubles :wink:

im not going to sample hi ho though.. or elton john and the lion king!

Funny this comes up, because I have a friend almost done wrapping up an album that revolves around Disney samples. I think hes gonna call it either Walt's Frozen or Walt Disney and Motorcycle accidents. Pretty trippy what hes done to almost all the disney movies' samples.
