this is why im mad and could possibly leave mpc for a mod tracker instead..i swear not only can the mpc1000 not perform 32voices simutaneously but it will slow down causing it to skip or slow down tremedously...the work around is to resample and use loops if need be treating ur mpc like a daw sorta..or just use mutegroups or mono instead of poly..this will help out performance and deffinately kill any effects u got running even the master effects. turn those bitches off resample what u like...this is really the only workaround i can tell ya..they work for me

no, no, no...you've both been misusing your polyphony dudes. the 1k can totally play 32 voices simultaneously, that's both your problem and solution

so not my problem it used to be my problem then when i started but im using maybe 16 to 5 voices max..without resampling its prolly like 300 some voices lol ya so resampling and mute groups and what not help big time on the performance of ur mpc...

the mpc can play 32 voices.

you may think you're only using X number, but watch your polyphony meter. other possible user errors include accidental mute group/mute target settings.

again: the mpc can play 32 voices.

where is this PolyMeter? I have only 10 tracks for the sequence and im not using any mute groups.... only happens when playing out strings or bass with the pads..

you can max out your polyphony on 1 track if you're not careful.

most drums will be mono (the pads, NOT THE PROGRAM) in real life too, because when you hit a single hat 2 times, the 2nd sound will cut off the first. individual drums are not polyphonic!
