Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Whatz up as yall all know i got a mpc2000 i got it second hand from a guy in january...no problems havent even crashed yet...i was just wonderin lets say ur on ur mp makin a beat and the plug fell out while it was on...(for sum reason my plug is not real snug and secure when plugged in itz easy to fall out)could this damage the mpc....IS there a proper way to turn itt off???when i hit that button in the back it seems like its abruptly shut off....is there sum kinda secret????Holla At Me

that's what i want to know. i'm pretty sure that it's the right way, it just seems wrong if you've used a computer before.

From my understanding that the way it was designed . Id just get another card from a computer store for like $5 .Whats messed up is that if it comes out while your working on a hot trak you would have to start all over so $5 investment for cable is not bad .

I don't think the plug pulling out will damage the mpc but if you didn't save before it came out the day's work is lost... The button to shut it off is just harsh like that, I had my mpc2000 for almost five years and it never had a problem with the on/off switch.
