Hey all
Just bought me a 1000 - very happy with it, whilst I'm still spending time with the machine and getting to know how it all works, I've kinda hit a brick wall on 2 things:
1) I found this mean snare sound in my library. When I am in 'Load' mode and play the snare sound, it plays the whole sound in full. The sound isn't a regular single snare, its more like a drum roll or a drum fill.
Trouble is, once I load the sound up and assign it to a pad, it only plays it as a single snare hit! I've changed the sound back and forth, from 'One Shot' to "Repeat' (or whatever it is) but when I get repeat, its give a 'N-N-N-Nineteen' effect, which is not what I want. I've held the pad down and also tapped it once, but can't get the same sound.
What gives? Why can I hear this great sound in 'Load' mode but not in the actual paying mode?
2) Also, when I am recording drums, for example the kick drum, I've been tapping the snare as well whilst I am recording the kick drum, due to the fact that the metronome is so quiet and playing the snare along with the kick helps me to get it all in time better.
Is this cool? Or OK?
