ok I tried it again, it loaded a smaller program on the 60, but I think it can't load a two 720k disk program, but I might be wrong again.

it takes a bit longer to load a sound that a native 60 program or snd, that might be it because they are 3000 files.
I think I'm keeping it.

The Editor's (and MPC2000XL) 12-bit is not the same at the 12-bit storage method of the MPC60. The sound data is the same between them but the MPC60 packs the data into fewer bytes essentially removing the zereos that the MPC2000XL and the editor use.

uh, so should I just put it in 3000 mode and not reduce to 12 bit? I would think that it was put in there for the 60, is this wrong?
