can you have different sequences recorded with different programs playing at the same time? ...i auto chromtically assigned a sound across the banks in one program....and then have another sequence of drum sounds that uses a different program. can they play together? if so how? thanks...

yeah sure...but i got these tracks already recorded.....from inside different sequences...when i try and put them in the same sequence it always seems to use one program for both or only plays one track at a time

Do you have the two programs loaded in separate drum holders? You can use four programs at a time on the 2kxl.

You cant play more than one sequence at a time.I forget how to do it but you can have a sequence playing in the backround at all times. Thats the only way to have more than one.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the question. To play a second sequence at the same time go to shift 2(misc) and F3 (2nd seq) choose the second sequence and F6(turn on). But why would you need to do that when it sounds like you're trying to take tracks from different sequences using different programs and play them in one sequence.
