All of a sudden my 2000XL doesn't recognise the Zip drive!

Hi!

I'm disturbed: I've been making banging beats for last two weeks, but suddenly my MPC doesn't respond to the IOMega Zip drive! I haven't plugged it out for a couple of months, but I do believe I disrupted it once while it was loading or something.

Anyone else have similar problems?! I'm really pissed, because I can't work on my music!

Try your SCSI channels you might have turned the wheel and switched it by accident.....

Also make sure you still have it terminated (small switch on the back)

The zip, that is.

If you unplugged or messed with Zip Drive while the MPC & Zip drive were on you def probably messed something up.

I got real frustrated and decided to plug both the Zip drive and the MPC off the wall, and when I plugged 'em back, that shit worked again. Go figure! Took me 2 days to get it back on track, but it seems to work just fine now.
