Hi guys

Searched the forums but couldn't find any help. But here is my problem: When i'm chopping a sample on the mpc and i use the data wheel, it doesn't really move the points very much - quite slowly. Is there any way to make the data wheel faster?

Thanks alot, but i'm still having some problems. I tried your technique, but i couldn't get it quite to work. When i have sliced my sample, and i'm refining the start point, i'm holding down the shift button and pressing on one of the curson buttons, but nothing happens.

I probably misunderstood it, but i hope you can help me out.

I'm quite new to the mpc, but when we're talking about the cursor buttons, it's the buttons below the trackwheel right?
And i got the newest OS (2.11), but i hope you can help me out. It has been a pain in the ass chopping samples with the numeric button

ur usin the original OS? i cant remember.. i think hold shift and scroll the data wheel. and it should go by larger incriments.

its either shift or taptempo (or either or.... jj has spoiled me i cant remember)

THe cursor buttons are marked DIGIT.

Put your cursor in the Start field, Hold down SHIFT and press the left DIGIT button and the cursor will move one set of points to the left each time you press it. Use the other DIGIT button to go back the other way.
