Sample Loading Limitations

Whats up eh-body. I don't think this is normal, but everytime I try to load more than 2 programs, I always get a messege saying "128 max sound library."

From what I was told, the MPC should be able to load 4programs and up to 256 sounds. Does this have something to do with the 32mb upgrade?

Somebody please holla at me.

two questions, how big are your samples and how much memory you got?

The samples are all one shots so the no bigger than 350k. I can't remember if my MP has the 32 mb expansion, I bought it used.

Which MPC?

I have an old 2k

I think the 2k only does 2 programs at a time

I think your right. If I'm loading 2 full 64 sample pgms, that'll fill up the whole sound directory.

2 full banks = 128
4 full banks = 256
