Lil MFC-42 help

I connected the MFC to my MPC today and before I could only listen to my MPC through my head phones cuz I didn't have it hooked up to my stereo outz. Well I did what was asked...hooked the Midi, Outz, Stereos yadda yadda to the MPC and MFC and I have my Stereo going to the MFC. Well when I turn the MFC on I can only listen through my head phones and when I turn it off I can listen through my speakers. Any one know the deal or can give me help with a proper hook up? I also have my turntable hooked up and grounded too the MFC, but I haven't tested it yet.....help would be great!

Where are the headphones connected to? I think I read somewhere that there's a bypass switch somewhere that turns the mfc off... you probably cut off the outputs of the mfc? If you connect your headphones to the mpc doesn't that disable the stereo outs?

I can listen to the music when the MFC is on through headphones, I plug them into the jack on the MFC, I can barely hear sound out of my speakers.......when the MFC is off it works fine..it's weeird

This could mean anything and makes us only guess at the problem. A more detailed description would help a lot.

yo, so did you get a chance to test this yet? i want to use the MFC instead of a mixer and run my turntable and a CD player through it and sample from it into my MPC. would that work? thanks for any feedback.

all you need to do is connect the MPC's stereo Outputs to the MFC's Stereo Inputs..

If you are using a mixer, connect the MFC's Stereo Outs to a stereo channel on your mixer, or 2 mono tracks paned left and right (i'm sure you already knew that, though).

as for Midi, i believe you just connect MPC's MIDI out to MFC's MIDI in, then, MFC's MIDI out to MPC's MIDI in..

keep in mind that there are 2 MIDI ins and outs on the MPC.

Well it did come with directions and I did have it working as I stated now....ya it's prety phat! I haven't used it to excess but I whipped around with some sounds
