All your sounds need to be SND.'s can't be wav.'s.

so what are libraries that are in akai format?

Would they work? Does the 3ooo have a cdrom?

You need to do some research by the sound of things.

Not really. He told you the format (snd), the 3K doesn't "have" a CD-ROM, and regarding the best sampler for those akai libraries I suggest you check this out:

You should also absolutely use the search function, try 'cd-rom'

People have talked about it before but I'm not sure where exactly in the 3K forum it is since it was a while ago.

Forgive me if I find that getting a straight answer is easier than searching for a proverbial needle in a hay stack. I understand doing research, but this is such a random question. Doesn't seem like something that would turn up that much in a forum search.

Someone told me on an other MB that you have to use a software converter to convert samples to mpc format.
