2kxl sample question

hey people i ve been sampling a bit, is there a way to stop the sample on a certain pad stop playing once another is pressed, also i have been making a few beats and when i save them( save a sequence) later on when i load the mid file it doesnt play, any ideas. im new so sorry. thanks

if you go to programs, then params, then the bottom right corner, select poly and press open window. now you're in the mute screen, and can select if you press one pad it'll mute another

also, when you save, you have to save the .pgm as well as the .seq

.seq will just save the sequences, but .pgm will save the sounds and the order you spread them on your pads
