How the **** is this possible?! Are you joking us man?! 200 bucks for a fully expanded? Shit, I need to pack my things and get the **** off over to the States. Over here in Greece suckers are selling the 500 for a thousand bucks. Yep, a thousand bucks that is! :P

i sold my 2kxl for $950 last july. its the blue face one too. so, after the fact, it seems that $700 is a great price to pay for these.

yeah this is a scam. the guy said he ships from overseas and the 2000xl will be $500 new. I asked him to take a picture with my ebay username on a piece of paper, and he refused. so i told him that what he was doing was complete bullshit, and theres no way in hell that he's making a profit if its legit.

[quote="kebzer"]Well, I just got clowned by a guy representing a studio who sold me a 3200xl which was ripped off from the sampleverb and filterverb boards and left with only the 8 outs, i.e. only the ones who were visible from outside. However, that sucker got filed back on ebay as a scam and unless he send me those boards, he and his studio store soon will be history. Anyhow, always remember that paypal and ebay got strength as long as you can cover your ass![/quote

i asked the very same thing of the same seller and of course he couldn't show me. all the auctions advise to contact him before bidding (usually explained in a jpg at the top of the description, view the photobucket album for the image and you'll find about 20 similar images for numerous scams), that's when he gives you a buy it now price and tells you once you've paid him, he'll register it with eBay so you're covered by their insurance (urrhh lies). farkin dodgy.
I've reported the seller numerous times and he just keeps coming back. moral of the story is, if it's too good to be true it probably is. i recommend for ALL purchases over $250 that you ask for a photo of the item with proof of ownership (their username next to it), don't accept watermarked photos. when they can't supply, report them immediately.
