Vinyl samples

Hi i was wondering what you need to get samples from vinyl and how to do it.

i only know of 2.......the ion and numark has 1........i hear the numark has a better quality cartridge so the 1 i got

The Gem Sound is Ok I have it. You migt want to upgrade the cartridge though... Works Perfect though.... for $99.99 you can't go wrong...

Just audio record it the same u would into an mpc or whatever sampler

i have the numark usb turntable and I just upgraded the cartridge. It uses the audacity software which is really easy to record vinyl samples

I got the Ion too. I use the stanton needle and cartridge from my 1200's. GREAT difference in sound. And Audacity kicks major gluteus maximii (plural for maximus).
