Very simple question:

If I buy an MPC 1000 in America and bring it back home to UK - will it work?

Well Im thinking that the power supply might **** tings up - UK and US plugs are different.

But Im sure it will be fine, with an adapter

Just pick up a new IEC or kettle cable, they're cheaper than adapters - unless you need the adapter for other stuff...

cool so apart from the different plug there should be no problem with the machine working in UK...?

NO problem at all, the MPC has an internal power supply witch switches automatically.

i got a US MPC and im in UK.. like stereoroid said.. just need a new lead for it (which are standard for pretty much everything electrical, from my kettle to computer to amp).. works fine.. i just stole the lead from my old busted printer.. altho it does hold charge sometimes so when i unplug it i get a shock off the plug.. great fun chasing the dog round with it zappin his wet nose lol
