i bought a new 2000xl-mcd

hey after 3 years of thinking what to buy i found a site that still had 2000xl new, i was gonna get a 1k, but then i slapped myself and said " if premier, pete rock, kanye, etc" can make stomping beats on the old machine then i was gonna try to. it was a bit hard at first with no usb, but i got me a card reader and then started chopping. im happy i got it now. P.S im from Australia, qld gold coast any locals wanna jam im down. thanks

Could be they don't have enough sense to be able to use USB or that for some reason their personal way of working doesn't benefit from it.
Would have never put that into my decision making.
You will eventually understand all you gave upo by going with the XL instead of the 1k with OS2.

Having owned both machines, I would be happy with either.

Lots of overlap in functionality, and most of the extra features can be done with a computer.

Not trying to start this battle over again, but here is a guy obviously happy with his MP, and someone has to complicate things

If you don't want people to respond then keep sh*t to yourself, plain and simple.
Postinfg anything in a forum means you are asking for replies, so he got a reply.
So where's the complication?

Also there's still a big difference in using the 1k with a computer compared to the xl and a computer.
The enhanced 1k is still gonna, especially if you replace the pads with the new kit.
