how do I use the motif6 keyboard has a sound module with theMpc 2000xl? I tryed 2 but failed I have midi a(mpc2000xl) in to midi out(motif6kyb) and midi a out(mpc) to the midi in (motif6 kyb.)
my problem is that when I select a trk midi 1A pgr.#1
then select trk#2 midi 2a pgrm. #5 when I play the mpc it changes the sound in track #1

how can I change everytrack(midi) on the mpc to be different sounds from the motif 6 kyb.?

what country are you from?

You need to make sure midi 1adevice 1 is selected on the MPC, and that midi channel 1 is selected on your motif, they need to match

yeah but when I go to channel 2 track then select another sound it changes my sound on channel one ...thats my problem ..the motif stays on channel one even when I swicth it by hand ..there got to be a way to make the mpc2000xl change each tracks sound on the motif ..without changing the other channels sound to the same one..get me?

sort of, I have a fusion not a motif but i fuks with midi. See the lower right of your mpc screen where it says PGM? Make sure it matches the same program number on your motif and make sure your motif is in song mode or multi timbral mode.

look bro most modern keyboards are set factory to have each midi channel the same as the track channel. so you need to change the track in your mpc to tr2: midi\device2A and also change the track on your motif to track 2. and so on and so on. and try to change it when the mpc is stopped. my triton glitches sometimes when i start changing tracks with the beat playing. not alot but enought to make me hit stop before i go changing track info now.
