Cleaning up dirty records

I want to start sampling off records to make beats and I know people like a little vinyl noise to keep it dirty, but I got way too much on my records and I would like some reccomendations on software that can take away, the crackles, pops, hum, I seen someone reccomend Waves Restoration, that sh1t cost $1,200, anything cheaper????

Cool Edit/Audition has a pretty dope noise reduction mode for eliminating record crackles and pops. You should still clean em first, though (physically, not software style...) if they're really bad.

I'm having a hard time deciding on soap. I'm not sure if I want my records to be Zestfully Clean, or Coochie Camay Soft.

shower gel? lol nah but for real would shower gel be good cuz i could just throw sum water in a spray bottle add sum gel shake it up and use it like that ...whenever i need it jsut shake it up

To clean up audio I use a program called "sound soap" it is made by a company called Bias. The program can be run as a VST plug-in inside a
program like cubase, logic, ect. that will host VST plug-ins. It cost about
$79, but you can download a demo at the Bias website.

I used to use windex, it gets alot of stuff off but doesn't get rid of some of the surface noise. If I'm jacking drums I leave the surface noise on... alot of cats swear by Ronsonol lighter fluid but I haven't tried that yet...

I got a bunch of Recs from a Guy that was hit by a Hurricane, Serious Flood damage.
I used Soap and Water and it worked on Alot of them, Some Were just lost causes.
