Your doing something wrong cause it doesn't jsut disappear cause it's built into the MPC. SO either you turned off PLAY + REC or REC or Metronome Volume.

WENT TO "COUNT: on" and f5 for sound. the metro came up but no sounds???? i dont know... it was werkin fine 5 mins ago

WHEN you went to Count: ON did you hit OPEN WINDOW and then see if it is something in there?

everything seems to be normal, but no sounds, its sync'd up to my keyboard, the pads are playing sounds, it records and plays back, but no metrodome
