mpc and my keyboard

Hi. ihave an mpc 2000 and i cant get sound from mpc when i record and i play my keyboard. can someone please help me as soon as possible? thanks.

How do you have the Yamaha hooked up to your MPC?

What about audio cables, mixer?

If you haven't already, check www.tweakheadz.com for info on hooking up MIDI devices (I'm ass-uming your Yamaha can xmit/receive MIDI data), and keep in mind MIDI is data NOT sound. (That REALLY needs to be in a sticky somewhere if it isn't already.)

The keyboard doesn't quite matter as much as how it is hooked up. The keyboard will provide the answer for certain hookup specifics, but a lot of it is general.

What is your cable hookup?
