hesitation/choppiness in pro-tools

When i try to track my sequences in pro-tools using the m box2 and I get hesitions or a choppy sound. I want to know is it something with my mpc or pro-tools? BTW, i am running pro-tools from a pc with 1.6 dual core processor and 2gb ram (maxed out)

it ciuld be a number of things but its more than likely PT! check your HW buffer.

what do u mean by choppy sound? - can you post an audio example...?

now i remember i got that choppy sound one time myself, i dont know what caused so i just tracked out again and it was gone. delete what you traked and re record

by the way you might get a better response if you posted in studio environments

so what are you running pro-tools on? Whats the specs of the computer your using as far as ram and processing?
