Hey guys.

Im having a severe feedback problem with my MPC. Every time I plug it into the earphone out on my amp to my ins on my MPC I am getting some serious feedback (sounds like an un earthed turntable). Also I am getting small shocks from the back of the unit (black metal casing), but not the grey metal on the top of the MPC. I think something has come loose but Im not sure. I have tried to earth the casing to the mains with no success so I am stumped! Any response would be very appreciated!

Peace

try using a different connection. 1/4 or 1/8 stereo outs are kinda eh for use with sampling if you have a different way you can set it up you might be able to eliminate that. try some rca to 1/4" TS wires or 1/4" to 1/4" trs wires.

Are you trying to sample in digital from the headphone out of your analogue amp? That is not allowed. lol -

Yep, did that and it worked. Thanks for the help, didnt realise the headphone outs would be that bad to sample into!

Been making beats all day now thanks guys!
