MPC searches Floppy, but it isn´t there anymore

hey all.
i put a scsi cardreader inside my mpc 2000 xl and took the floppy drive out.
the reader works fine, but the mpc searches for the floppy, everytime i enter the load or save screen.
it ain´t no real problem, but is it possible to "tell" the mpc that the floppy is not there anymore? so that it won´t search for it.
maybe a jumper setting on the mainboard or some changes inside the os.

In the setup page on the Load/Save screen you can tell it the primary device to load from. If you set it to your card readers SCSI ID instead of ATAPI, it won't always look for the floppy anymore.

It needs to be set to ATAPI Device.
