So what's a beat battle? Are we supposed to make a whole track with it or just a beat?

That's your own choice!

Instrumental with variations or a 4 bar looped beat, you decide.

But don't rap or sing on it. Sampled vocals is alright.

I thought the beat was due on the jan 14---I don't want to be the only one dropping my beat

By deadline I actually meant that beats dropped after jan. 13th are disqualified, but maybe I didn't make myself clear.

We could move the deadline to dec. 31 to speed things up a bit?
