Merry xmas to everyone btw. My first question, is an effects board nice,worth it, and how could I get one?

About the assignable outs on back of the mpc. Do those hook to your mixer by 1/4 cables? How does that work? I'm thinking could you control a kick for example with channel 1 of your mixer, is this true?

i like the effects.some dont.the 8 outs are 1/4 and yes you can control different sounds that way.
