All I can say is that the pads feel much softer, which to me is nicer for my preference, but I thought I need to make an adjustment on the sensitivity of the pads.

If so, do I make it less sensitive or more?

double triggers can be recognized via software and compensated for. though i don't have a real problem with double triggers since i got used to playing the pads, every now and then i record one. double triggers aren't as important when you have a TC on (since the 2nd trigger just overlaps the first: often leaving you with a much less than desirable velocity)

however, when you have TC off, double triggers are highly noticeable esp when you have the pad set to mono.

think: 2 recorded notes of the same pad, one 127 velocity and the other 3. pad is set to mono. your pad will sound really cut off.

answer: duplicate note filter. reaper has one, a user coded a JS effect which eliminates double notes.

you could specify a range, like "within 7 ticks" which at doubletime resolution is a very generous allowance for double ticks, since you rarely play the same pad less than 7 ticks away from the other. the filter would just eliminate the 2nd note.

just ideas. nothing really pressing, since experience with the pads will solve most prolems.

Hamzter... I remember reading something about the lowering the sensativity. I still have the old pads, but plan on getting the new ones soon. Once you adjust the sensativity, let me know what you think of them. Is the pad problem resolved, or did they just swap them out for new problems?

what the **** are this new pad??
