Replacing a Akai MPC2000 Disk drive

Does anyone have any advice for replacing a disk drive on a 2k?

Is it pripriotory drive or will a normal Pc floppy work?

Have you seen any service manuals on the net by chance? The audio outs need to be fixed along with the fader and the volume knob. My winter project.
