MPC2000XL or MPC1000

I'm using a classic right now and I'm looking to upgrade my ish. I heard the 1000 has a warmer sound but has a few issues. And the XL is pretty much a classic with some more features. Any pros and cons on these two. Input appreciated!

if the moneys of no consequence, then id say go with the xl..that's just my opinion though..the 1k is also a nice lil beast, especially with jj os installed..the best thing you can do is research both models, and make the decision for yourself..

yea..don't know how true that is..

i have both, get the xl. much better sound, and easier workflow. bigger buttons, tilt screen, rock solid durability. more available outputs too

upgrade or get max ram, 8 outs, and an mcd card reader... makes the saving process a breeze like the 1000.

dont waste your time with a 1000, when you already have the 2000 in the bag, just upgrade to the XL
